Two local band directors playing ukuleles and a kazoo. We dubbed them KazooKulele. They played several entertaing dittis ... and ... Stairway to Heaven. More fun from KazooKulele! Two of the Radio Cowboys and Lee on harmonica. Me, Blue and Lee doing an encore jam.
I think this was one of our better shows. We kept the party going playing songs ranging from Boot Scootin Boogie (of course), Play Something Country (for Faye), Redneck Woman, Mud on the Tires and Alcohol to Breakdown to Play That Funky Music.
Not shown individually in this set are Tim (keys) and Mark (bass) without whose expertise in sound and electronics we couldn't do what we do. Also not shown is Carrie (drums) whose steady beat keeps us together on stage.
Camille singing with Lee's backing. The band was postioned behind the live auction items for the first set.
Lee (Legit) singing lead and is flanked on the left by Greg and Andy on the right. Greg, although playing guitar here added some amazing fiddle work. Andy added his wonderful lead playing. I can't believe that he kept up with Andy on the Cotten Eyed Joe. Andy, I know for a fact that you've never played that song before.
The Face in the Dirt Band played the ARC's Boot Scootin' Boogie a dinner, auction and dance at Elks Lodge on February 4th 2006. It was a packed house of 550+ for this benefit. Thanks Michelle, Marleen and the ARC the band had a lot of fun. I hope you did as well.
The front of the AGF 10/29/05 T-Shirt. Its no longer a secret T-shirt society. Thanks Steve Anderson and Chris Fritchie for a great event.

The "Show Must Go On" Award goes to Carrie our drummer who sustained an injury to her toes while loading up. After a visit to the local hospital she came and played well.
Some of the family
It's hot now!
Lee Weaver in the shadow of the oil derrick and the overhead freeway.
Cragg Eubanks the owner making an announcement. In addition to music, there was a classic car show, burn out contest, a radio personality on top of the 80' oil derrick for two days, yo-yo exihibition and more. Thanks Cragg for supporting the community and the relief efforts.
Blue on lead guitar
We are out in front of one of the two restored and attached diners that Cragg Eubanks brought to WF and create the Pumpjack Diner.
Notice the "Handicap" sign above my head. I felt that way sometimes.
